Very punctual and communicative people. The mechanic, Peter, came out and did an excellent job on my washer and dryer. But he made sure that he kept in touch with me in case there were any appointments or delays. Truly a professional person.

Not too happy with this company, I was told to receive a refund and it has been past 30 days… Have tried contacting multiple times, but no avail, horrible experience!! Was told to report this company to BBB since he has done this to two clients (second being me) Peter said he would issue a refund and didn’t. Read other 1 star comments….

Terrible Experience with Son & Sun - Avoid at All Costs!

If I could give zero stars, I would. My home warranty company hired Son & Sun to fix my refrigerator, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. Their technician, Peter, showed up, barely looked at the fridge, and didn’t even open up the back. He quickly told me that there was ice buildup and suggested I turn off the fridge for two days to let it melt. He said if that didn’t work, he would come back (each visit costing me $100). After two days without a working fridge, I followed up with him, and only then did he claim that the compressor was broken and reported this to my warranty provider.

The worst part? My warranty claim was denied because Peter incorrectly reported that the damage was due to a power surge—something my warranty doesn’t cover. I had to hire a technician from Sears who actually took the time to open the fridge and diagnose the problem. Turns out, the compressor was perfectly fine; it was the board and a fan that needed replacing. This cost me $600 out-of-pocket, which should have been covered if Peter had given an accurate report in the first place.

When I confronted Peter about his mistake, he initially promised to refund my $100 visit fee if I sent him my statements, but then he completely ghosted me and refused to respond to emails. Son & Sun seems more interested in collecting fees for pointless visits than in actually fixing appliances. Avoid this company at all costs—trust me, you’ll save time, money, and frustration by going with someone else.

P.S. To respond to the reply by the business, I should note that I sent the official Sears invoice + a bank statement to them and not a fake invoice. It's easy to trash an honest review instead of taking responsibility for your mistake. So dissatisfied...

If I could give zero stars I would.
Horrible experience..
The tech came out and didn’t even turn my stove on. I guess he made a guess based off what the issue was and Said he needed to order a part. Then installed this part.. still the stove did not work same issue and he ordered another apart .. still it didn’t work! It’s been almost two months without a stove and now the insurance company wants another opinion wasted my time and money! Horrible company save your time and money.
It took him weeks to call the insurance company horrible experience.
