Called and spoke to the office on Friday for a new roof estimate.
Was told they would call Monday. Never called 2 weeks later I called left a message to please contact me for a new roof quote. Call was never returned. This is a poor way to run a business. I heard they did do good work, but how about some common courtesy.

I manage several apartment communities in Central Florida. One had heavy damage during the last major hurricane. Roofers were in very short supply (couldn't get anyone to even call us back for weeks.) We had our roofer from out of state come down and roof this property. Everything has been fine until a month ago. There is an issue with 1 unit leaking. I called this company, explained everything to the person that answered, and he basically said that he wasn't interested in the business and rudely said I should call the guy back from out of state to fix it.

Seems a bit petty and childish to act like this simply because you didn't get ALL of the business after the last hurricane.

I would highly recommend Bowen & Son Roofing without any hesitation to anyone interested in roof repairs or new roof installation. They are very knowledgeable, competent and professional. They just completed the installation of our new roof which was a huge job with a very complicated roof design. Their employees exhibited all the qualities most appreciated by homeowners; they were courteous, polite, professional, and cleaned up all their debris (including blowing off our driveway) each day before they left the job site. They repaired all our leaks and I now have a beautiful new roof. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Bowen replaced half of my metal roof that no longer met code. They were the only company around here that would even give me a quote because the roof is high and steep. It seems to have been done correctly. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I can’t get them back to do the other half, which also doesn’t meet code.

A gentleman from this company came out to inspect a roof of a home that his client was going to potentially purchase. He said that the entire roof needed to be replaced and that inside the home there were areas where it seems the homeowner had painted over to cover up areas where leaks had occurred. The roof had been replaced in 2016 and is a metal roof. I had a certified home inspector inspect the roof and he found no active leaks within the home that were caused by faults in the roof. The areas where there were stains or seemed to have been painted over were there from when the previous roof had been on the home and the home inspector used a moisture meter on the areas and found that the areas were dry. I would not recommend these roofers to anyone in the highlands area.
