Da einer der Bügel meiner Sonnenbrille abgebrochen ist, musste diese repariert werden. Da ich mich nur eine begrenzte Zeit in der Gegend aufhalte, orientierte ich mich an den Google Maps Bewertungen der Optiker in der Umgebung (Springfield, VA). Nach kurzer Schilderung des Problems vor Ort, wurden mir die Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt. Es wäre sogar eine Reparatur in ca. 1h möglich gewesen. Ich verzichtete und bat um Bereitstellung am Folgetag. Am nächsten Tag Nachmittags wurde ich freundlich begrüsst und mir mitgeteilt, dass die Brille fertig ist. Dann noch kurz angepasst und das Malheur war behoben.

I called to ask if they would fix a quite minor problem that should take no more than 5 minutes. (I lost a tiny screw that fastens the arm.) They said it would cost $50. I ended up buying a repair kit for $1.50 and it took me about 2 minutes to repair. I am repelled by their money-grubbing and unhelpful attitude. I would never recommend this place.

One of the arms of the glasses I use had snapped off near the hinge. They are my favorite pair of glasses so I went here based off reviews and was not disappointed. These people are experts and were able to assist me immediately. The arm I had was a flimsy, plastic Army-quality piece of junk that can't handle any bending. Bracken Opticians was able to provide me a new metal and sturdy arm for my specific brand of glasses for $45. $35 for another plastic brand if I had wanted to go that route. It only took them 30 minutes because I had a specific arm that was needed for the glasses they had to find in their inventory. I gave them my number and they called me and my glasses were ready with the new arm attached. I haven't had issues since.

This place is quick, reasonable, and the man I spoke to at the front desk was a very nice veteran that knew what he was talking about. This is the type of place you hope you don't have to frequently visit due to issues such as an arm breaking off your glasses but they are the best choice if you do.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some amazing eyewear!! I have bought many many frames from Bracken Opticians. They have such an amazing inventory, not only is the selection really good the opticians there are very knowledgeable, super friendly customer service, and can do things pretty much no other places can. They have brought some of my frames back to life and done things I didn’t think were possible. I really must say! I wasn’t prepared to buy anything until, We found a couple rare gems tucked away. The staff here is super friendly, and knowledgeable! I ended up after chatting, and spending an hour or more in the store just amazed at all the vintage frames in their inventory I bought 3 frames with some new age lenses! Come to find out after having 20/20 vision my 44 years of life, they recommended trying on reading glasses and small letters went from blurry to super clear! Thank you so much for the spectacles! And they actually polish, and repair frames as well. I am most definitely will recommend this place to family, and friends! Thanks and God bless
