Linda, at brillen.com help to complete my exam done remotely by 2 more docs. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses that were available 17 business days after my exam. I saw the special price for a pair of progressive lens, and got "up- sold" (willingly) to get prescription sun glasses (photo grey ones) along with the new pair. The service was great, and I was able to get my new pairs of glasses during COVID. The guy who was training Linda is getting this location near Bella Terra in Huntington Beach, CA, up and running. I'll remember his name next month, but I got our picture on my way out.

I got 2 pairs of fun, cute frames--with progressive & transition lenses--for less than one pair I got from my eye doctor, using insurance!! Plus, the opticians listened to me and measured the Progressive line in the right place. I have a difficult prescription and they got it right the first time! The whole experience was great and I will be recommending to everyone!!!
Update: I went back 6 months later to get a new prescription for working at my computer & had a Zoom exam by one of the OD's, who was in Berkeley! It was a great exam, perfect prescription, the techs were great, knowledgeable & friendly. I also got a pair of Progressive sunglasses--2 pair for the price of one from my regular doctor's office. It took 2 weeks to get them, but worth the wait!! Highly recommend!

I didn't have an eye exam as I had one done at Kaiser recently. I had excellent customer service while choosing my glasses. Nice glasses and I could see perfectly out of them. I got an everyday pair and sunglasses. I thought they were pretty stylish. Not quite as stylish as my Gucci glasses, but I got two pair for less than my designer glasses. When I picked them up they were very nice and adjusted the frames as they were a bit loose. I recommend them without reservation.

A total waste of time and money. Don't bother even making an appointment at this place. It took them over 2 hours to complete my appointment for a simple eye refraction and ordering 2 pair of progressive glasses.
It took over 1 month for the glasses to show up, and it's only by luck that I got them then, because once they showed up at the store the store didn't bother to call me. :They forgot". This after multiple phone calls and promises to call me when they arrived.
I've been wearing progressives for many years so they are nothing new for me. Both pair are made incorrectly. I can't even use them for computer use without looking through the bottom edges of the glasses. That's at arm's length. Reading? Forget it.. It's just completely wrong.

I'm headed there today to return them. The lenses are not etched so it's impossible to check them. They said these are made in Europe, but the cheap plastic lenses and frames and seem to be no different than cheap stuff you get from China.
I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened the store. But the results are horrific. All they offered me was $10 bucks for several weeks delay. Get your exams and glasses ANYWHERE else and you'll do better.

Very pleased with my experience. The price for 2 pair was cheaper than 1 pair with my eye insurance. Customer service was excellent. There was a decent selection of glasses to choose from. Very happy with the quality.

I had my eye exam and ordered 2 pairs of progressive eyeglasses on June 23rd at the Bella Terra Huntington Beach store; was promised they'd be ready in 3 weeks. Though the HB staff was very friendly, their delivery times are not at all as stated. It has been almost 7 weeks and still nothing. They did call me last week promising a 20% refund due to the delay and that my glasses would be here soon. Now, ten days later and almost 4 weeks late, still no glasses. Besides, calling them would be impossible as their phones are never answered. Where are my eyeglasses, please?

I went to visit the Brillen store today and met with a very nice and caring employee. His name is Al Cowan. He did deliver an unbelievable customer service with great expertise, experience, and beyond. The store is well maintained, sanitized and cleaned. However, the store was short of frame choices for men, perhaps due to the general disruption of supply chain. Because of this shortage of options, i would give an overall 4 stars this time. I would not hesitate to recommend this store to friends and family. You did a good job, Al. Keep up with that great service, and i will see you guys again next time.

I had an appointment in Laguna hills and had a very good experience with brillen. Pricing is same as they advertised and it's very affordable for 2 Pairs of progressive. Linda is very kind to me and she is excellent with the customer service and had good knowledge of the product. She assisted me very nicely throughout the whole process.
