This might be the world's largest Cabelas property. It's adjacent to Cabelas Headquarters and includes the store, campground, rv dump station, park with small lake, hiking trails and picnic area. What a beautifully maintained property. Overnight parking is allowed and who doesn't live Cabelas. As always I left my area cleaner than when I arrived and made an in store purchase to thank Cabelas for allowing me to overnight. I had full bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming, no wifi and 13 OTA television channels.

The one! The original! The Cabela’s of yore. It’s there for you on those long I-80 trips across the country, it’s there when you need a boat at the last moment, or a coat! It’s there when you need a bathroom, a bunch of snacks , or just to walk and peruse the racks! It’s there in winter, it’s there in summer! Stop in and look around, it’s no bummer! It’s a highlight of the interstate, woodsman, fisherwomen, boaters and the like, you’ll all be glad you pulled over and took the hike!

It’s the mothership of the chain. Pretty much like other Cabela stores. Made several purchases but one item I paid $60, I found at a Scheels in South Dakota for $50. I was disappointed that store did not offer a product (shirt, hat, etc) that proclaimed it was from this particular store. Excellent parking available even for big rigs. Really liked the Pony Express memorial out front.

We stopped for a break during our cross country trip. The staff was friendly and, of course, the inventory is incredible.
We bought very little but encourage others to stop.

Usually a great store. Yes, most items are overpriced, but quality is better than most places. However, today, they sold me a returned set of night vision monoculars. I couldn't set them up because I couldn't access the menu. The function did not work. I know it's from being used because there is an SD card inserted that has over 18,000 photos on it. It doesn't come with an SD card. Couldn't even view the photos without going into the menu. Returning it again soon.

Awesome place. I expected it to be a bit different (or bigger maybe) than the ones here in Canada, but it isn’t. That’s a good thing I guess - it has all the stuff you’re used to finding at Bass Pro or Cabela’s.

This was a great place to stop and stretch our legs on a long haul. It's the first ever Cabellas. The man who uses a walking stick in the gun library took the time to talk with me and tell me a bunch of really cool stuff. I suggest you ask an employee to tell you about the elephant and other cool, unforgettable stuff. Also, make sure you hold some cool guns, I always love doing that at Cabellas. There is a dog kennel here and a pond and even a powersports store. Also pets are welcome inside the store.

I think it's where it all started...visited several times passing through town as a kid, and LOVED going. Maybe there are more impressive Cabelas stores out there now, but would visit here again in a heartbeat.
