Shoe and boot fitting service is excellent. Alex was very helpful identifying suitable footwear for my intended use. Ended up buying two pairs of walking shoes and a pair of boots. Highly recommended.

2 separate occasions I have had faulty jackets to which I was met with a very patronising and condescending manager. First time I was told north face wouldn’t accept my return as the jacket wasn’t clean enough- they did and they gave me a full refund, second time the same manager told me that the new jacket I had bought was not waterproof, I explained to her I knew the difference between waterproof and showerproof however, the jacket I bought was as little use as wearing a jacket made from toilet roll. I won’t be going back purely because of her manner.

Came in onthe 27th April with a pair of Merrells in a size 6 i brought a few days on line before for my holiday in the Lakes . I thought they where slightly too tight but unsure . Having came in store to see if i could try a size 7 i was served by a lovely friendly chap called Oliver . He was super helpful and quickly located a size 7 in the exact pair i already had . Measured my foot and told me that the 6 where in deed too small. He really knew his stuff also when it came to feet !. Polite and generally rushed of his feet he could not do enough to help . I kept them on my feet having walked into town from Low briery in trainers . He cut tags off and exchanged without any hassle . Great member of staff .Thanks Oliver!!

Wanted a new pair of walking shoes so went to Cotswold. The assistant first of all measured my feet, length and width . As I've lady feet( bunions etc) I needed a wide fit, we came up with 3 that were comfortable. I wasn't pressured into choosing but after over a hour I decided on one. No pressure sale tactics,No impatient tuts just very good service.
