They seem to try to carry items they offer online, but locating them is a different story. We came looking for a pair of shoes they would not hold for us or send to another store. After 15 minutes of them looking for the shoes, they located the box. Then we were told the shoes were on a manikin. After more waiting, the shoes they would not hold for us that were advertised as being in the store did not exist. We drove across town to show up and there were no shoes. BUT, Brett, the manager, made things right. It was a wait, but we definitely felt the holiday spirit.

I am not someone who writes a ton of reviews, especially not bad ones, but in this case I just need to vent. I drove to this store to exchange an online purchase. After standing in a long line, when it was finally my turn, they said we don’t do returns in this line, go over there. Annoying, but not a big deal. So I waited in a second line, they processed the return but then added a charge for a $20 pair of Sox that I didn’t buy. I didn’t notice until I got home. I called and they transferred me to management, who then said sorry, nothing we can do. Tough luck. I tried to explain it was their tellers fault and they needed to fix the issue, he got more and more rude through the conversation, I asked for his name and he hung up on me. Worst customer service I have ever had. Update - Dicks Customer support saw this review and reached out to me, They sent me a gift card which was fine for me. So corporate might be doing the right thing. But they still have the wrong people in management at the store level.

The customer service desk at this location was extremely unprofessional and rude. I bought a pair of steel toe boots and Carhart pants from this location about two weeks ago. The items were valued at $165. I was in a hurry, so I did not have a chance to try them on in the store. Upon purchasing the items, I asked the cashier about the return policy at Dick’s. He assured me that if I had the receipt, tags, and the condition of the items were the same as when they left the store that I would be entitled to a full refund.

Upon trying the items on at my house, I realized that the boots and pants did not fit. When I tried to return the items to the store today, the customer service representative let me know that the items had been worn and she would not be able to refund my money or let me exchange the items for a size that fit properly. I tried to explain to her what expectation had been set for me upon purchasing the items, but she insisted that the items could not be returned. After all, how else would I know the items did not fit, if I did not try them on?

I was planning on buying a new putter while I was in the store, but after my interaction with the customer service desk I will never be shopping at Dick’s Sporting Goods again. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They should consider updating their return policy to NO RETURNS ACCEPTED! With competitors like Costco and Amazon offering world class customer service, I wonder how long a store like this will remain in business. Photos of the items in question are attached below.

Shoe department employees think they are “too cool” to help anyone. Asked for shoes and was disappointed when the employee completely disregarded us and walked away. Will not return but the employees would probably like that so they don’t have to do their jobs
