Great quick and tasteful meals for our family. We’re time constrained for our next stop and the server was extremely helpful and attentive. The chicken was delicious with a great kick of fresh condiments but my favorite was the Mac and cheese. Also I enjoyed the butternut squash mashed. The ribs were delightful. And the local beers were good.

Looking for a late night dinner and drinks after the hot springs? This is the place. It’s all gluten free and tastes fantastic! Drinks were on point, and had a nice chill vibe of people hanging out and playing pool.

We’ll be back the next time we visit!

Was looking for dinner at 930 pm following a trip to the hot springs and chose Native Son after reading positive reviews. Parked on the street easily. Sat at the bar, prompt service. Ordered shrimp tacos (3) and vegetarian croquetas. Both meals were excellent and very reasonably priced. The food was both better in quality and far less expensive than the meal we had in Aspen this week. The vibe is just a bar on karaoke night but the food is what would bring me back. Highly recommend.

Came in for a drink and stayed for the night. Can’t recommend Native Son enough, the service and drinks were top notch and the food was not “bar food”, literally some of the best tacos I’ve ever had and I’m somewhat of a taco snob. Ricky aka “Air Wolfe” was my bartender and his recommendations just based off the liquor I like blew my mind. Do yourself a favor and stop by Native Son when you come to Glenwood, you won’t be disappointed.

Native Son is a restaurant bar that I really enjoyed, especially for the food, which was quite good. They offer a fairly extensive menu with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The service was respectful and attentive from the moment we arrived until we left. There’s also a small area with two pool tables where you can play and have fun with friends.

However, I found the atmosphere a bit gloomy, and the music wasn’t to my taste, though I visited on a Tuesday night, so I’m not sure how it is on weekends. Overall, it’s a good restaurant with room for improvement in the ambiance.

Stopped in here late after going to the hot springs, great local spot! Brandi took great care of us, the tacos were excellent. Drinks were great too, definitely a place to try while in Glenwood!

I’ve been bartending for nearly 12 years, and Brandi makes the best Amaretto Sour I’ve ever had, hands down! 😍 I’ve always loved Native Son, but Brandi will definitely have me returning!

I was very impressed with the service at Native Son! I come up to Glenwood Springs to get away from the busy city life in Denver and this was a new place that actually reopened in August of 2018. The service was impeccable and our waitress was very nice. We ended up meeting the Owner of the place, Jack Montou. He was very kind and my friends and I were waiting for our order of cheesecake for about 20 minutes or so. He came to check if we needed anything and we told him we had been waiting on our order but our check was brought instead without the cheesecake listed. He went back to the kitchen and came out with the Manager and they both gave us cheesecakes on the house! Not one, but two! They were very sweet and very down to earth and were apologetic about having us wait for so long. The wait wasn’t that bad, but they are VERY attentive to their customers and maintaining their impeccable service. I was HIGHLY IMPRESSED! It’s also the only bar that serves food after 10pm in Glenwood.
